Terms of service
The short version of how we work with you. The full terms for each job are set out in the authority you sign when we take it on.
Our services
Valet Collision Centre arranges vehicle recovery, provides or arranges hire vehicles, manages insurance claims on your behalf under your written authority, and carries out collision repairs in its own workshop.
Quotes and approvals
Repairs proceed once approved by you or by the insurer responsible for the claim. Where an insurer changes the scope of work, we tell you before continuing. Any cost that will fall to you personally is confirmed with you in writing first.
Hire vehicles
Where you are not at fault, hire costs are recovered from the at-fault party or their insurer and you are not charged provided you cooperate with the recovery process. Where you are at fault or the other party cannot be identified, hire is charged at the daily rate agreed before the vehicle is delivered. Hire vehicles must be driven in accordance with the hire agreement.
Warranty
Lifetime warranty, for as long as you own the vehicle. The warranty covers our workmanship and does not cover parts warranted separately by their manufacturer, subsequent damage, or wear and tear.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-performing the relevant service or refunding the amount paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
